Hi Anita:

 

All of our districts will be on DASL by February, 2008. There is at least one ITC that won’t have all of their districts converted to DASL until next summer. So I can’t tell you anything about a deadline.

 

You are set to go in our Winter/Final Wave and will be contacted by Jerry sometime in the future to set up your kick-off meeting.

Why does the Academic Content Standard Guide group Grades 5 - 7 together, when Grade 7 is always grouped with Grade 8 and associated with Junior High?

Simply worded, yet hopefully effective...

My question: With regards to the rights of operator (using new or former definition?) and outside contracts with the governing authority--is that referring only to a management company's contract or does that include any or all outside contracts with the governing authority?  I am confused on this one.  They give us a new definition of operator, so I am confused on the rights of that operator...if the operator is, in fact, the governing board, or if the operator is the executive director...and this piece is referring to any or all outside contracts (ie fiscal agent, food service, etc), then how does this piece of the law fit?
